Fellowship Church of God has a variety of ministry teams, led by dynamic ministry leaders, where our members are able to utilize their God-given gifts and talents. We are able to fulfill the missions that we are striving to achieve due to the excellence in which all of our ministries function. Our Ministries
Intercessory Prayer Ministry
The Intercessory Ministry is called to strengthen the Body of Christ at the Fellowship Church of God, through continual and fervent prayer. We pray continuously for our Senior Pastor, First Lady and family, ministerial staff, congregation, church ministries, community, as well as for the furtherance of the gospel of Christ.
Hospitality Ministry
The Hospitality Ministry serves in support of events held at Fellowship Church. Their purpose is to guide, help with planning, and provide the physical assistance in the use of the kitchen facilities for the church. This ministry cooks, prepares and serves food with the spirit of the Christian servant.
Assimilation Ministry
The Assimilation Ministry strives to make all new members and new believers feel welcome, first to the body of Christ and then to the FCOG, by exhibiting Christian love, enthusiasm, knowledge of Christ and the Fellowship Church Family. Our purpose is- "To prepare God’s People for works of service, so that the Body of Christ may be built up”. Ephesians 4:12(NIV)
Usher's Ministry
The Usher ministry's purpose is to make our members and visitors alike feel welcomed as they enter the sanctuary. They are to ensure that everyone is seated comfortably in order for everyone to enjoy the worship service. They are also responsible for making sure our visitors are treated as "honored guests"-which they are.
Sound/ Multimedia/Drama Ministry
The Sound/ Multimedia & Drama Ministry is comprised of four areas: Audio ministry, sound ministry, video ministry and television and radio ministry. These groups work together to provide sound and audio-visual assistance for all church programs and functions as well as maintain all audio and video materials for duplication.
Men's Ministry - Empowermen
The Men's Ministry (Empowermen) strives to assist men in embracing their leadership ministry at home by fulfilling their responsibilities of a loving father, husband, and spiritual leader for all members of their family; also to enhance their leadership skills at the church by fulfilling their responsibilities as stewards of the Word and the progress of the church; and to encourage involvement of their leadership in their personal community, as well as the local community.
Music and Arts Ministry
The purpose of the Music Ministry is to minister through music (vocally and instrumentally), understanding that music builds the atmosphere for worship and praise. It is not only by our ability to lead praise and worship but thru our own personal worship that we're able to show, by example, that God’s alive through music.
Children's Ministry
Our children's ministry directors are a husband and wife team who understand the need for a strong family structure. This ministry provides age appropriate evangelism and discipleship of the children. It encourages active participation of our children in the worship experience. This ministry serves children ages four (4) to ten (10) years of age.
Greeter's Ministry
The Greeters ministry is designed to provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere, especially for all of our first time guests and members alike. As a first contact, greeters play a key role in setting the tone for the work of the Holy Spirit. Our goal is to make every person feel like a part of the Fellowship Church of God family.
Wedding Ministry
This ministry is responsible for being the on-site liason of the church during all wedding activities. They meet with the couple and the coordinator if applicable, review the church's wedding policy, and provide information about the church facilities to the wedding couple. The Wedding ministry is also on-site to assist the couple durning the wedding ceremony and durning receptions held at the church.
Women's Ministry/Sista to Sista
The Women's Ministry strives to serve as an organization for the support and education of women in the church by fulfilling the responsibilities of a loving mother, wife, sister, friend, and spiritual leader for all of the members of the family and to provide strong female leadership and support in the church, the home, and the community. This ministry is designed to build women up and encourage them to strive for excellence in their secular and spiritual lives.
Couple's Ministry - (Two into One)
Two into One Marriage Ministry strives to provide venues where married couples can learn and grow together through bible studies and marriage enrichment classes as well as connect with other couples. This ministry gives the couples the oppourtunity to be encouraged, strengthened and equipped thru the Word of God. Two into One is designed to allow couples to experience the miracle of two different individuals becoming one spiritually through the power of the Holy Ghost.
Outreach Ministry
The Community Outreach Ministry partners with other FCOG ministries and/or organizations in our community and surrounding cities to provide assistance to those in need through (but not limited to) the development of outreach programs, volunteerism, education, training and/or charitable giving.
Pastoral Care Ministry
The Pastoral Care Ministry provides compassionate care and practical support to members and friends of the congregation during life transitions, hospitalizations or other crises. We strive to identify, encourage and support the ongoing needs and compassionate spiritual care of the sick, elderly, and the dying.
Foundations Youth Ministry aims to reach, evangelize, and disciple young people between the ages of 12-18 years of age. We're endeavoring to teach them about the love of God, thru the word of God and by personal examples.
Foundations Youth Ministry
Watchmen for the church in areas of traffic and security in and out of the church. The mission is to ensure church members have a safe and secure worship environment within and around the church.
Gatekeepers Ministry
Imagine Campaign Ministry
The purpose of this ministry is to focus on the raising of funds to be used on present and future building projects. This ministry supports the visionary goals of the church and facilitates fundraising oppourtunties and events on a quarterly basis.
Dance Ministry
The Dance ministry ministers as part of our morning worship service each 1st Sunday as well as durning special programs and events. Their mission is to reverence God through music and dance while creating and atmosphere of worship.
Christian Education Ministry
Led by our Executive Pastor, this ministry provides for weekly instruction in the Word of God through biblically based classes provided for all age groups during the Sunday School hour and then on to Children's Church. The focus of instruction is to provide the necessary knowledge and insight to mature as Christians and to support each person's God-given ministry.
The social media ministry takes care of the online/social outreach of Fellowship. This ministry handles Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and Google+ and the Fellowship Church of God website.
